81st Legislative Success
Increased funding of the Statewide Youth Services Network - a juvenile delinquency prevention program implemented by Boys & Girls Clubs and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Originated by the 80th State Legislature and funded at $3M state-wide, this funding grew to $4.5 this session. Many thanks to Senator Lucio and Representatives Zerwas and Dukes!
 Secured $3M at TEA to implement Texas AIM (Academic Innovation and Mentoring). Texas AIM is a proven effective program of Texas Boys & Girls Clubs and is a skills gap remediation and life skills program. Many thanks to Senator Hinojosa and Representative Villarreal!
